..was so jam packed full of ugliness I didn't have time to make it back here to journal about it. Might have helped me sleep if I had.

We've had this ongoing feud with the neighborhood bullies around here since I had to move back in with my mother. My youngest son will be 9 years old next month. These kids are 12, 13, and 17 (boy girl, boy). So yesterday I have the father of the 12 yr old up here screaming in my face to keep my son inside and away from his kid. Uhhh trust me I have (which is what I tell him) .. every time, we get a knock on the door wanting to know if Sam can come out and play. Unfortunately there are really no other kids close by for him to hang out with, so he wants to go hang out with them because he's bored.

Long story but the cops were here to talk to just about everyone in the neighborhood to see what the story was. Had my son thinking either he was going to have to go away or that I was going to be taken away. It was hellish.

On top of that there was a misunderstanding, squabble, breakup, whatever you want to call it between a potential significant other and myself, and I burnt my chicken for dinner.

Ice cream sundaes finished up the day and that was the highlight so I guess it wasn't all bad.
